Canvas - Enroll Multiple Sections Combine a Course

Before completing the steps below, select one section of your course and follow the instructions to create a new Canvas shell from a Banner class list.

1. Visit canvas.temple.edu and click “Course Tools.”
2. On the “Course Tools” page click the “Canvas Courses” tab.
3. Click the gear icon [ ] next to the course where you want to add multiple sections. This will take you to the “Enrollment Options” page.
4. Click the “+” sign next to “Associated CRNs” and a list of your courses in Banner will appear.
5. Click on each section of the course you would like to add to the course and then click “Done.”
6. Note: Auto-enrollment begins two weeks before the first day of the semester. If you have completed these steps after two-weeks prior to the start of the semester, students from these sections will be populated into the course within 24 hours.
