Description

ITS provides Comcast cable TV services accross university campuses. ITS will help determine which package is suitable based on the location of the campus.

X1 for Hospitality (X14H)

Fixed channel lineup over IP network. Any building on Temple campus via Ethernet with a fixed rate.

Comcast for Business TV (BTV)

Coax service only. Basic, standard or preferred channel lineup. Channel lineup determined by building. This service is only available in certain campus buildings:

  • Barrack Hall
  • Edberg-Olsen
  • Mitten Hall
  • Pearson-McGonigle
  • Sullivan Hall
  • Temple Sports Complex

Audience

Faculty and staff

Requirements

  • All domestic campuses except Harrisburg
  • Active power and Ethernet service at the television location
  • 1 cable tv box per display

Service Charges

X1 for Hospitality: $17.50/month + Ethernet charges ($7.01/month) + Comcast surcharges and fees
Comcast for Business TV: Shared cost between all TVs in building
