You will be logged into the virtual Desktop environment. Please note the following:
- You will be automatically logged out after 15 minutes of inactivity. Please stay active and save your work often to cloud storage.
- Save your files to OneDrive, Google Drive or another cloud storage. For your convenience, a shortcut to your OneDrive folder is available on the OWLab Desktop and Documents folder. You can also access your files directly from the folder.
- Files that are not stored in OneDrive or other cloud storage will be deleted on a regular basis. Please do not save files to the Desktop, Downloads folder or Documents folder.
- After 10:00 pm nightly, you may be asked to log out, then immediately log back in again. This is normal, as it is part of an automated system to ensure we use the virtual resources efficiently.
- When you are finished, make sure to log off, either by double-clicking on the log off icon on the Desktop, or through the Windows menu.
