JMP Site Licensed Software

Description

JMP Student Edition is a statistical analysis and data visualization software program used by scientists, engineers, and others to explore data.

Eligibility

The software is:

  • provided as a free 12-month subscription to current Temple students, faculty and academic researchers
  • to be used for teaching and research purposes only (e.g., classroom instruction, academic research and course work),
  • available for Mac and Windows, and

Charges

The software is free for current Temple students, faculty and academic researchers*.

* ​​​​​​​According to the JMP website, "academic research is defined as noncommercial work that will be published in a journal, presented at an academic conference, or shared for the public good."

Note: If you use the JMP for business purporses, you must purchase a license. For more information, please contact software@temple.edu.

JMP Student Edition is also available in all central computer labs, smart classrooms, and kiosk-based loaner laptops.
