SAS Site Licensed Software

Description

The SAS system is a powerful software package, which serves as an excellent tool for data management and statistical analysis. It is capable of generating presentation-quality graphics through the SAS/Graph component. The SAS for Windows version provides additional modules. See the full list of included products .

Requirements

The software is:

  • available to students, faculty, instructors and emeriti
  • to be used for teaching and research purposes only (e.g., classroom instruction, academic research and course work),
  • available for Windows 10 and 11*
  • provided as an annual license that runs from June 1 through May 31 each year.

* If you need interactive statistical software for the Mac, consider using JMP , which is also part of Temple's site license program.

Charges

  • If you are using SAS for academic or research purposes, you can obtain the software at no charge.
  • If you are using SAS for business purposes, you must purchase a license. For more information, please contact software@temple.edu .

The software is available on the Information Technology Services Download Site .

Note: The download can be as large as 20GB, so a fast, stable internet connection is required. If your download is interrupted, please reattempt the download process.
