Eligible continuing undergraduate and graduate students can register using the self-service method available in TUportal. A continuing student is a degree-seeking student who continues enrollment after their first semester at Temple University.

How to create a Registration Plan:

  1. Log into TUportal
  2. Click on the Student Tab
  3. In the Registration channel, click on Plan Your Schedule
     

How to register for a course:

  1. Log into TUportal
  2. Click on the Student Tools tab
  3. Click on Register for Classes (Add/Drop) in the SSB9 Registration channel

COMMON ISSUES:

  • Self Service Banner Time Out: this is usually a browser issue. Clearing your browser cache or trying a different browser (IE, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, etc.) may resolve your issue.
    • Instructions for clearing your browser cache can be found HERE.
  • CRNXXXX - Please contact the help desk: this error can occur if you have BOTH the Register for Classes module AND the Plan Your Schedule module open at the same time. If that is the case, close both tabs and just use the Plan Your Schedule module only to register for the courses in your Plan. If you want to register for courses that are not in your Plan, just use the Register for Classes module.
  • Prompted for a PIN: If you're prompted for a PIN, please reach out to your academic advisor for assistance.
