Packages

  • Temporary -The data is protected by RAID levels on the disk array as well as the daily backups. This service level is best for reproducible research data, temporary working datasets, backups of non-production servers, and data downloaded from the Internet that could easily be recreated. The data is backed up daily and is retained for 14 days.
  • Standard - All data is highly available. This service level is best for video capture applications, TUvault-type file shares, Hadoop database clusters and general mass storage. The data is backed up daily and is retained for 14 days. The data is also replicated in a remote data center for extra protection.
  • Premium - The underlying disks provide performance for a broad spectrum of workloads. This service level is best for high read/write data streams. The data is backed up daily and is retained for 14 days. The data is also replicated in a remote data center for extra protection.

  • Storage must be used for Temple University business needs.
