Print on the Go Mobile

Print on the Go Mobile enables you to print documents using a smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer. You can use it from any location that has Internet access, either on or off campus. With Print on the Go Mobile, you do not need to perform a setup process. You send the documents via email.

Things to keep in mind about Print on the Go Mobile:

  • You can print any Microsoft Office document, Adobe PDF file, JPG, text, or PNG file. If you try to mail a file in an unsupported format, you will receive a return email telling you that your print job has failed, and listing the allowable file formats.
  • You can print 100 documents per day.
  • Color printing is available only in the Main Campus TECH Center, HSC TECH Center and Ambler Information Commons.
  • Your document will be available to print for up to 24 hours at any Print on the Go print station location.
  • When you swipe and print, the pages will be deducted from your standard printing quota.

To submit a print request:

  1. Log in to your email account and create a message to owlprint@temple.edu.
  2. Include a Subject, such as owlprint or the name of your document.
  3. Attach up to three documents that you wish to print and send the message. If you are using a Temple email account, skip to step 5. Otherwise, go to the next step.
  4. If you are using a non-Temple email account, you will receive an email prompting you to add this new address to your account. Click on the link in the message and log in to printcenter.temple.edu (using your AccessNet username and password) to add your email address to your account. Note that you may add multiple addresses to your account.
  5. Depending on the complexity of the documents, you should receive an e-mail reply within about five minutes, confirming that the jobs are ready to print. If you do not receive a confirmation after this time, please resubmit your request, taking care to follow all instructions/requirements listed on this page.

Things to know:

  • The address owlprint@temple.edu will print your file double-sided. This is the default printing mode at Temple, used to promote environmental sustainability and conserve your print quota. To print your document as single-sided (for a final draft, for example), send the email to owlprint.single@temple.edu.
