Question
I do not see the EDUroam network. How do I connect?
Answer
Please see the TROUBLESHOOTING > Set Up a New Connection section on the WIRELESS ON CAMPUS for instructions on how to manually connect to the EDUroam network.
If you're experiencing issue connecting or finding EDUroam, try connecting manually by following the instructions below:
- Open control panel
- Click on Network and Internet.

- Click on Network and Sharing Center.
- Click on Set up a new connection or network.

- Click Manually connect to a wireless network.
- Do the following:
- Network name : Enter eduroam
- Security type : WPA2-Enterprise
- Encryption type: AES
- Check “Start this connection automatically” then click Next

- Click Change Connection Settings.

- Click Security tab

- Click Settings

- Do the Following:
- Uncheck “Verify the server's identity by validating the certificate” box
- Uncheck “Fast Connect” box

- Click Configure

- Uncheck “Automatically use my Windows logon name and password (and domain if any).” Box, click OK.

- Click OK again to close “Protected EAP Properties” window
- Click Advanced Settings button

- On the Advanced Settings screen
- Check the Specify authentication mode
- Select User authentication from the dropdown
- Click Save credentials, enter client's AccessNet email (accessnet@temple.edu) and password
- Keep clicking OK to close any open windows, then click Close to exit Manually connect to a wireless network window
- Go to the Task Bar at the bottom of the Desktop. Click Wireless Network Connection icon to connect to eduroam.
