Temple Cores is a SaaS application hosted by Agilent Technologies using the iLab core facility management software platform. iLab is a web-based system designed to support centralized laboratories and shared research facilities, including resource and instrument scheduling, access management, usage and cost tracking, service requests, and billing.
Temple users will authenticate through AccessNet SSO. iLab will integrate with Temple’s ERP Finance system and FOAPAL/PI data, with nightly updates to maintain current funding and account information. External users can create iLab accounts or, where supported, authenticate through their institution’s iLab SSO.
The system supports integrations with ERP Finance Grant Billing and ACH/lockbox payments. These capabilities allow Temple core facilities to provide specialized research equipment and services to both internal and external academic, nonprofit, government, and industry researchers.
Individual core facilities are managed by their respective Schools/Colleges and core managers under the guidance of Temple’s Office of Research & Innovation (ORI).
Users with an existing iLab account from another institution may contact ilabsupport@agilent.com to merge accounts. Requests to add a new Temple core facility should be directed to coreadmins@temple.edu.
