Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is an added layer of security that protects your Temple University accounts by requiring two forms of verification:
1. Your AccessNet username and password
2. A secondary method, typically your phone
Once set up, MFA is required when logging into key university systems such as TUportal, TUmail, Canvas, Zoom, Microsoft 365, and more. Temple uses Duo Security to manage MFA, offering options like push notifications, passcodes, or text messages to verify your identity.
Alternatively, you can press Manage Phones for MFA on the right hand side of this page.
