What is this Service? 

Microsoft 365 lets you download and use the latest Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive, and Teams on up to five computers and five mobile devices, plus the web apps—at no extra cost.

Who is Eligible to use it?

Current students, faculty, and staff (full desktop + web). Emeritus faculty (web apps; desktop if contract allows). 

How do I use it?

  1. Go to office.com, sign in with your Temple email and password.
  2. Click Install Office for desktop apps—or open the web apps right away.
  3. On phones/tablets, get the Microsoft apps from your app store and sign in.

Cost and Limitations

  • Covered by Temple’s Microsoft agreement—no charge to eligible users.
  • Basic install help only for personal devices.
  • Five‑device limit; deactivate extras at office.com.
  • File storage and sharing must follow University data‑governance rules.
  • Advanced Power BI, premium add‑ins, and custom coding are not supported by ITS.
