What is this Offering? 

All eligible members of the Temple community, including current employees, students, and authorized guests receive an @temple.edu e-mail account upon joining the university. 

Who is Eligible to use it?

Students, Faculty, Staff, First-Year Alumni, Authorized Guests

You can access TUmail by signing in at TUmail.temple.edu. Alternatively, you can press Access TUmail on the right hand side of this page.

Cost and Limitations

  • Provision and manage accounts for students & employees.
  • Provide storage space per account based on their role.
  • Ensure the availability and accessibility of the service.
  • Implement security measures such as spam filtering and virus protection.
  • Provide support for email-related issues.
  • Does not include the support of personal (non-work) email accounts.
  • Does not guarantee the recovery of deleted emails beyond xx days.
  • Does not include training on how to use the email software.
  • Does not include support for third-party email clients.

External Tag Exclusion
As part of Temple's effort to reduce phishing and other email scams, all emails from external senders now include an [External] tag in the subject line.
Safe Sender List
ITS uses spam filters to block suspicious emails from getting through to the university. In certain rare occasions, ITS allows for exceptions to this process by adding an email address to a safe sender list.
