Digital Signage

What is this Offering?

AppSpace Digital Signage is a university-wide cloud-hosted digital signage solution used at Temple. It is used to manage university content on digital displays around Temple's campuses (Main, Ambler, Center City, Health Sciences Center, Rome and Japan). Appspace provides a modern, manageable way to deliver news, information and media to displays in common areas, entryway and lobbies. By displaying content digitally, departments can reduce the time, cost, and environmental impact associated with traditional print media.

Appspace provides the ability to:

  • Publish content to a single display or group of displays quickly
  • Display important announcements instantly
  • Present multiple forms of content, including images, videos, and web pages
  • Broadcast live events or streams
  • Build dynamic content using information from weather providers, RSS feeds, and more

Who is Eligible to use it?

This service is available to Temple University departments and offices that maintain digital signage displays on campus. While ITS supports the system itself, individual departments are responsible for managing their own content.

How do I use it?

Departments interested in using the digital signage system can request access by contacting ITS. Once onboarded, they will receive administrative access to manage their own signage content. ITS will provide onboarding support and help address service requests or issues related to signage functionality.
