Set Up PIN Printing for Adobe Acrobat (macOS)

Please be aware that PIN printing is application-specific.

1. Within the Adobe Acrobat document you wish to print, click the print button.
   
   
    
2. In the printer selection dropdown menu, select the desired managed HP printer.
   
   
    
3. Click the Printer button.
   
   
    
4. Click Yes to open the Printer Setup dialog box.
   
   
    
5. In the printer setup dialog box, under the Printer Options section, click the icon next to the Job Storage option.
   
   
    
6. Select Person Job in the Mode dropdown menu. Check the Use PIN to Print checkbox and enter a 4-digit PIN to protect your print job*. Then click OK.
   *Please do not use an easily guessable PIN number. You will need to enter the same PIN number at the printer to release your PIN protected print job.
   
   
    
7. Click Print to send your PIN protect print job to the printer.
