Obtaining a Slack Enterprise License
Order Slack via TUmarketplace by selecting the ITS Software and Applications punchout under Showcased Suppliers. Note that access to TUmarketplace is limited, so your departmental administrator may need to place the order on your behalf.
In TUmarketplace, follow the steps below:
- Log in to TUportal.
- Under TUapplications , click TUmarketplace.
- Under Showcased Suppliers, click the ITS Software and Applications punchout.
- Search for Slack Enterprise, click Add to Cart and then View Cart.
- Click Proceed to Checkout.
- You can add a comment or internal note for your own tracking, but it is not required. When ready, click Place Order.
Once your order is processed, a help request will be generated under your name, and you will receive an email notification from help@temple.edu asking you to submit the name and AccessNet username for each person receiving a license on the ticket. This process helps document the request and license assignment. Once a license is assigned, you will be notified, and the submitted users will be able to access premium Slack features. In some cases, they may need to log out and log back in for the features to appear.
