How to Disable Enhanced Tracking Protection for Accurate Course Completion Reporting in Docebo

You may receive errors in recording course completion If your browser has Enhanced Tracking Protection enabled. See instructions below on how to disable Enhanced Tracking Protection when using Safari, Firefox, Chrome, and Edge.

Note: Laptops and PCs are recommended for completing mandatory courses. 
Disabling Enhanced Tracking Protection

Safari 

  • Open Safari and click Safari in the menu bar. 
  • Select Settings, then go to the Privacy tab. 
  • Un-check the box next to Prevent cross-site tracking to allow tracking. 
  • Close the settings to apply changes. 

Firefox 

  • Visit the website for which you want to disable Enhanced Tracking Protection or perform this for all sites. 
  • Click the shield icon to the left of the address bar. 
  • Toggle off the Enhanced Tracking Protection for that website. To adjust global settings, click Settings, then Privacy & Security and configure Enhanced Tracking Protection to Standard, Strict, or Custom

Chrome 

  • Click the three dots in the top-right corner and open Settings
  • Go to Privacy and Security and select Cookies and other site data.
  • Disable Block third-party cookies, or adjust other privacy features such as Do Not Track as needed. 
  • For more granular control, use Site Settings to configure tracking and cookies for individual sites. 

Edge 

  • Click the three dots in the top-right corner and go to Settings.
  • Select Privacy, search, and services.
  • Under Tracking prevention, toggle the switch to Off to disable tracking protection, or select the level (Basic, Balanced, Strict) for partial disabling. ​
