Overview
HP is Temple’s provider of managed print services – in this capacity, HP leases printer/copier machines (aka multifunction devices or MFDs) to Temple and is in charge of deploying, managing, and maintaining the devices as well as supplying consumables (e.g. ink and toner cartridges). Pricing is structured as a monthly base (lease) cost plus a “click charge” (charge for each impression on paper).

Recycling Ink and Toner Cartridges
Temple University has partnered with HP to offer free and easy ink and toner cartridge recycling programs at all Temple Campuses. Recycling your ink and toner cartridges is one way you can participate in the sustainable circular economy – a system that conserves energy, reduces air and water pollution, reduces greenhouse gases, and conserves natural resources.
Departments have two options for recycling ink and toner cartridges:
- Mail Back Program
- Bulk Pickup Program
