Telephone Conferencing

Telephone conferencing via Verizon Instant Meeting provides Temple University departments with a reservation-less audio conferencing solution for small meetings (up to 20 participants). This service enables real-time, voice-only collaboration through personal dial-in numbers and passcodes, with support for both PSTN and IP-based access.

To request access to Verizon Instant Meeting or inquire about port availability and usage charges, contact the ITS Telecommunications Department on the right.

• There is no monthly fee; usage charges apply.
• Additional ports may incur monthly charges depending on capacity.
• Service is ideal for small meetings (up to 20 participants by default).
• Subscription cancellations may occur if unused for extended periods.
• Up to 100 ports available (restrictions apply for international customers).
• Microsoft Teams and Zoom are the recommended audio/video conferencing tools for most university use cases.
