What is this Offering?
ITS provides various levels of support for local/network non-HP MPS devices.
Scope
Make recommendations to EISM-supported departments when purchasing non-HP MPS printers.
Provision, manage, and troubleshoot printers purchased by EISM-supported departments.
Verify printers are operational by updating drivers on endpoints as need.
For network printers within scope, provision network connectivity.
Recommend replacement toner cartridges and switch cartridges.
Does not include resolving hardware issues.
If an issue is identified to be hardware-related, departments are responsible for provisioning repairs.
Support is limited to printers still supported by the manufacturer for current Windows and macOS operating systems.
