Cognos Reporting

The Cognos Reporting service enables users to create, manage, and distribute reports using IBM Cognos Analytics. This service provides access to predefined datasets and allows for the development of custom reports to meet specific business needs.

• Provision data sources via Cognos models and packages.
• Report Development only provided by the Student Collaboration Center for student related reports.
• Review and prioritize incoming Cognos reporting requests.
• Interview requestors to gather and document report objectives and required data elements.
• Evaluate individual reporting requests for potential benefit to all University units.
• Ensure accuracy and optimum performance of existing reports.
• Create student related community reports
• Does not include development or support for reporting platforms other than Cognos.
• Does not include development of reports for external agency reporting or accreditation.
