Specialty Printing in the TECH Center

The Specialty Printing Room in the TECH Center (Room 204) provides self-service access to a variety of specialized printers for high-quality and large-format printing needs. Available equipment includes high-volume black-and-white laser printers, color laser printers, inkjet printers, and poster/plotter printers. Full-time staff and student consultants are available to provide assistance as needed.

This service is available to current Temple University students. Faculty members can request a poster on the poster printing request form.

Visit Room 204 of the TECH Center during open hours to access specialty printing services. Available options include:

• Poster/Plotter Printing: Up to 42” wide; must be sent from a TECH Center lab computer. Payable by credit card.
• B&W and Color Laser Printing: Payable using print quota. Students must use the paper provided.
• Inkjet Printing: Payable using print quota or credit card. Students may use:
• Lab-provided plain paper, or Their own inkjet-compatible matte or glossy paper, which must be in the original box and clearly marked as inkjet-compatible.

Note: Inkjet and poster/plotter printing must be submitted from a TECH Center lab computer. These options are not available through Print on the Go.

Paper Use Restrictions:
    •    Students must use TECH Center-provided paper for all laser and plotter/poster printing.
    •    For inkjet printing, only inkjet-compatible paper (in original packaging) is permitted if bringing your own.
    •    Double-sided printing is not allowed on inkjet or plotter/poster printers.
    •    Refunds are only issued for printing or system malfunctions. No refunds are granted for user errors, file issues, or incorrect selections.
    •    Print jobs must be submitted from a TECH Center lab computer for inkjet and poster/plotter printers.
