Microsoft Teams Audio and Video Conferencing

What is this Service?

Microsoft Teams Audio and Video Conferencing allows Temple University students, faculty, and staff to collaborate remotely through secure, integrated video and voice communication. As part of the university’s Microsoft 365 suite, Teams supports online meetings, calls, and collaboration within the flow of work—on or off campus.

Who is Eligible to use it?

This service is available to all active Temple University students, faculty, and staff. Access is granted through university-managed Microsoft accounts with role-based permissions and license management.

How do I use it?/How do I Request it?

Microsoft Teams is available across desktop, mobile, and web platforms. Users can sign in with their Temple credentials to host or join meetings, schedule calls, and collaborate in real time. The service is managed by ITS, which provisions access, assigns licenses, and provides support through the Help Desk for account-related or technical issues.

Cost and Limitations

There is no additional cost to eligible users. Support does not extend to third-party apps, hardware issues, or the development of custom bots or apps. While high availability is maintained, uninterrupted service during unexpected outages cannot be guaranteed.
