What is this Offering? 

ITS provides technical assistance using installed and portable equipment in classrooms at the Main, Ambler, and Center City campuses.

Scope

  • Provide end-user technical support during academic courses and university events for faculty, administrators and staff within supported smart classrooms.
  • Monitor, manage and respond to all Helix support tickets and AMX "help" button alerts generated from our smart classrooms.
  • Ensure the availability and accessibility of smart classrooms as outlined within the official Temple University scheduling system, 25-Live.
  • Monitor, test, and manage the available AV and computer technology located within all supported smart classrooms.
  • Coordinate the continuous implementation of an AV and computer technology replacement cycle for all supported smart classrooms.
  • Does not include support for computer labs, general labs, conference rooms, breakout rooms, studios, non-academic event spaces and common areas.
  • Support limited to specific hours especially during evenings and weekends.
  • Does not include staffing for support off campuses. 
  • Does not include equipment distribution or lending for off campuses use.
