What is this Service? 

Call Recording (Telstrat) enables the capture and storage of phone conversations for quality assurance, training, support, and compliance. Recordings can be configured to start automatically or manually by agents or supervisors. Stored recordings are searchable by date, time, caller ID, or agent ID and can be used for playback, evaluation, and reporting.

Who is Eligible to use it?

Temple departments using university-managed telephone services, with an approved retention policy.

How do I use it?/How do I Request it?

  • Submit a TUhelp request to enable call recording on eligible phone lines.
  • Supervisors can access recordings for QA, training, or compliance needs.

Cost and Limitations

  • Free for departments with Temple phone service.
  • A defined retention policy is required.
  • Pennsylvania law mandates two-party consent before recording.
  • Service does not include support for non-Temple phone lines.
