Benefits New Hire Enrollment

What is this Offering? 

Benefits New Hire Open Enrollment is a web application that allows eligible new hires to enroll in Temple University benefit packages.
These include health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, survivor benefits, AD&D, and retirement options.

Who is Eligible to use it?

Newly hired Temple employees who are eligible for benefits.

How do I use it?/How do I Request it?

  • If you’re eligible, a “Next Step” link will appear in TUportal after your job start date.
  • You have 30 days from your start date to complete enrollment.
  • Selections are submitted through the system and routed to the Benefits department for review and approval.

Cost and Limitations

  • Access is limited to eligible new hires during their initial enrollment window.
  • Benefits decisions and availability are subject to HR policy and approval.
