Yuja Panorama

What is this Service?

YuJa Panorama is Temple University’s digital accessibility platform integrated within Canvas, designed to enhance the accessibility of course materials for all learners. Developed by YuJa Inc., Panorama automatically evaluates and remediates digital content, providing alternative formats and accessibility scores for documents uploaded to Canvas. It leverages AI and machine learning to identify issues and offer solutions, helping instructors create inclusive learning environments.

In addition to its Canvas integration, Panorama includes access to DocHub, a companion application that allows staff to remediate documents outside of Canvas. This enables broader accessibility efforts across instructional and administrative materials.

Panorama supports accessibility best practices by offering:

  • Inline Document Remediation for on-the-spot fixes
  • Accessibility Scorecards with visual indicators
  • Alternative Formats including audio, HTML, ePub, and tagged PDFs
  • Comprehensive Reporting for instructors and administrators

Who is Eligible to use it?

Faculty and instructors, Students and Staff

How do I use it?

YuJa Panorama is automatically available within Canvas. It displays accessibility indicators next to course materials in Modules. Clicking these icons opens detailed accessibility reports and options to download alternative formats or remediate issues.

Faculty and staff can access Panorama tools directly in Canvas or via the Panorama LTI link. DocHub access is provided separately for document remediation outside of Canvas.
