Microsoft Site Licensed Software

The Microsoft Select Plus Agreement is a flexible, volume-based program designed to reduce the total cost of software ownership. Select Plus makes it easy to acquire licenses for Microsoft products such as Visio, Project, Windows Server and SQL Server on an ongoing basis. When purchasing this software, you have two options:

• License only (current version, which you can use in perpetuity)
• License with Software Assurance (guarantees product upgrades through April 30, 2025). We strongly recommend purchasing License with Software Assurance to ensure upgrades at no added cost for new product releases. The cost is prorated based on the remaining months until the end of the contract. Software Assurance must be purchased at the same time the license is purchased.

The Microsoft Campus Agreement licenses the Microsoft Operating Systems and Office Suites on a subscription basis. Temple University's current agreement runs through April 30, 2025. The agreement covers all Temple University student, faculty and staff for the following products:

• Microsoft 365 for Mac and Windows
• Windows OS upgrades (university-owned OEM Windows Pro licensed computers only)

Microsoft licenses, such as Project, Visio and SQL Server, must be purchased through Bell Techlogix. For a quote, please send email to software@temple.edu .

To speed up order fulfillment, it is best to attach the required Master Microsoft Software Site License Agreement to your purchase requisition as an internal note. If you have an agreement on file, note the name of the end user. Agreements can also be emailed to software@temple.edu .

If the agreement is omitted from the purchase requisition, Purchasing will send an email to the contact person, which will delay order fulfillment.
