Special Event Support

What is this Service? 

This service supports the coordination of IT needs for special events hosted by departments supported by EISM (Enterprise Infrastructure & Service Management). It ensures that the technology in event spaces managed by IT Services is functional and ready, and provides optional on-call staff presence at the event’s start.

Who is Eligible to use it?

This service is available to departments supported by EISM hosting events in spaces where technology is managed by IT Services.

How do I Request it?

To request special event support, submit a request to EISM on the right as far in advance of the event as possible. If on-call staff support is required at the event’s start, submit your request at least 72 hours before the event.

Cost and Limitations

  • Only events in IT-managed spaces are eligible for this service.
  • On-call EISM staff are only guaranteed to be available at the start of the event, not for its full duration.
  • EISM cannot guarantee fulfillment of last-minute technology additions, changes, or repairs; these often involve external vendors with separate scheduling timelines.
  •  A minimum of 72 hours’ notice is required to schedule on-call support.
